
The New Century Fund was created in 2001 as an avenue for the City of Columbia to received tax deductible gifts from businesses and individuals and grants from foundations.
The New Century Fund is governed by an independent board of directors, composed of ten members. One is a member of the Columbia City Council, one must have professional experience in the operation of a non-profit organization, and the remaining eight are members of the Columbia community. Board members represent a wide-range of business backgrounds and history of community involvement. The New Century Fund is a link between the community and our city government.
